The Arch at Land's End is approximately 15-20 minutes from the IGY Marina in Cabo San Lucas, depending on your vessel's speed. Most 4-hour charters include a stop at The Arch for photos, followed by cruising to nearby beaches and snorkeling spots.
Both morning and sunset offer spectacular views of The Arch. Morning visits provide calm waters and excellent lighting for photography, while sunset cruises offer the most romantic atmosphere as golden light illuminates the rock formations. Midday can be crowded with tour boats.
Yes, most yacht charters include time for swimming and beach visits at Lover's Beach. The calm waters on the Sea of Cortez side are perfect for swimming, while the Pacific side (Divorce Beach) has stronger currents and is better for viewing from the vessel.
Cabo's waters are teeming with marine life. Commonly spotted species include angelfish, parrotfish, sergeant majors, pufferfish, sea turtles, manta rays, and dolphins. During winter months (December-March), humpback and gray whales are frequently sighted from your yacht.
Absolutely! Chileno Bay is one of the best spots for beginner snorkelers due to its calm, protected waters, gentle entry points, and excellent visibility. Our crew provides instruction and flotation devices for those who need them, making it safe and enjoyable for all skill levels.
A 6-hour charter is ideal for a comprehensive snorkeling experience, allowing time to visit both Chileno Bay and Santa Maria Bay with breaks for lunch and relaxation. For a more leisurely pace with additional stops, consider an 8-hour charter that includes The Arch and beach time.
Every charter itinerary is fully customizable! Work with our team to create your perfect route combining The Arch, Lover's Beach, Medano Beach, Chileno Bay, Santa Maria Bay, and other hidden gems along the coastline. Longer charters allow for more destinations.
The Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California, was dubbed "The World's Aquarium" by Jacques Cousteau due to its extraordinary marine biodiversity. It is home to over 900 fish species, 10% of which are found nowhere else on Earth, plus whales, dolphins, sea lions, and sea turtles.
Medano Beach is Cabo's primary swimmable beach with calm waters. Lover's Beach on the Sea of Cortez side is also swimmable. However, many Pacific-side beaches have strong undertows and are not recommended for swimming. Your captain will guide you to the safest swimming areas.
